ABOUT ME :
Throughout my academic career and by launching my own jewellery brand,
I've had the opportunity to cultivate a universe that's both dark and sensitive,
blending modern tailoring with the quirky culture of Internet kids.
GRAD COLLECTION LOOK BOOK
“Bones in a sack of skin ;
an absurd modern world.”
an absurd modern world.”
Through this collection, I wanted to tackle different themes as part of a broader reflection on the absurd. The collection deals with death, nihilism, religion and mysticism.

To express my creative vision, I chose to create a magazine,
"HELIOTROPE MAGAZINE", through which I could present the process and
thought process that led to the AW 24 collection.
To express my ideas, I worked on imposing, serious
silhouettes sometimes reminiscent of religious ceremonial dress. It's a world
that has inspired me a great deal in my creative work, with more or less
obvious references such as the icon of Jesus printed in cyanotype on a shirt.
The statement “Bones in a sack of skin” expresses a nihilistic vision of man, reducing him to a composition of dermis, flesh and bones. This idea is central to the collection and materializes in the dark colors and use of organic materials such as leather, a direct reference to skin, and chicken bones, found on several garments. These materials are important for two reasons: their nobility and the weight of the life they once carried. What better symbol of impermanence than the product of a bygone life. Other stylistic elements refer to this same idea through shapes, yokes and cut-outs, sometimes reminiscent of a femur, the contours of leather being tanned or the markings of injured skin.
Although morbid in appearance, the collection has a therapeutic bent, aiming for fulfillment through acceptance of the nonsense of the universe.

In June 2022 I organised a pop-up store in the 6th
arrondissement of Paris where I presented a line of jewellery as well as the
magazine HELIOTROPE*.

HELIOTROPE MAGAZINE
Silhouette created on clo3d
For this silhouette I thought about a duality that would allow me to show the link between actions and consequences. Here the action is represented by the top of the silhouette, with a black bomber jacket, white shirt and tie. Ideal for a morning at La Défense. The bombers are marked by 6 pointed protrusions, a reminder of the malevolent nature of our activities. All the while respecting bureaucratic dress codes. I'm using the office worker as an allegory of the « 6stème ».
The bottom of the outfit, the V2 drop jeans, represents the consequences of our actions. Through its asymmetry and abundance, I wanted to point the finger at our thoughtless attraction to over-consumption. The idea was to create a pair of monstrous, vengeful jeans, made up of several jeans that had fallen victim to fashion. A monster garment straight out of the manga One Punch Man or Berserk written by Kentao Miura. Above and beyond my ideals, I wanted to approach an aesthetic on the borderline between chaos and orthodoxy. To oppose them, and in this way create a harmonious composition.
